BUY YOUR AWESOMEFEST TRACKTIME

Hey Drifters at AwesomeFest – Listen up. It’s 10am GMT and this is no April fools – we’re releasing the first batch of track time out to you – but be REAL quick as this is by far the most in demand thing we’ve ever ever done! You’ll be drifting on the best circuit in the UK for drifting with the best drivers from all over Europe at the best Drift festival ever put on.

You can buy track time for both Saturday and Sunday, you can buy any sessions you want to drive in, and you can buy multiple batches if you want to make sure your team or buddies drive with you on the same slot. Remember guys – you’ll still need to get an entry ticket – the easiest and best value option is the Weekender Pass which is available for £35 until 1st May when the price will rise to £45 for the weekend, and individual day tickets will become available!

Press Release from AwesomeFest HQ Today:

Track Time – Relentless and huge demand for track time booking has peaked so management have taken the decision to release the first 50% of the track time tickets allocation on Friday the 1st of April 2011. Prices will be a bargain £17.50 for per full 15 minute session, and the sessions will run all day on Saturday and on Sunday. This will also allow European Drivers travelling from a long way away to have a chance to buy their track time and not risk not being able to book on a session. Passengers will be allowed to ride in regular cars for free. Track Tickets will be available on the Driftworks Website and linked from the AwesomeFest website. There will be two skill levels allowed – Intermediate/Capable and Advanced. Beginners to Mallory or fast track driving are advised that this might not be suitable at AwesomeFest as we want to keep the quality of track time high, but they are all welcome to come and watch, or attend a Mallory practice day.

Tyre changing will be provided by Mint Tyres – please contact them if you have any special tyre requirements for the day.

Prices for Entry – On the 1st of May, the early booking Weekender price of £35 will rise to £45 – and day tickets will be released at £25 for Saturday or £20 for Sunday. Single camping passes will be £8 if you buy a day ticket and wish to camp.

Media Passes – We have been inundated with media requests. We will be reviewing the first entries soon, so please standby. We regret that we will only be able to offer full media access to Printed Media and large scale blogging sites, we will not be able to provide media support for smaller internet blogs. There will however be plenty of places for everyone to get great photos! Approved media will gain access to the media centre with high speed Wifi and tables for laptops.

Well, I’m lucky enough to have seen him play before, and in between the moments of speechlessness, I would occasionally utter the words “surely that’s impossible?”
